New Developments for 2008
As an organisation CastleCare is constantly striving to improve the quality and scope of our provision across England & Wales. For 2008 we are planning to open 3 new homes which will offer our customers increased levels of service and choice.
Darley Cottage – Barnsley
A 3 bedded home with dedicated on site education for young people aged 8 – 17. Set in its own grounds this substantial stone built cottage will offer education and intensive support to young people with complex emotional issues and challenging behaviour. The highly trained staff team and teacher will work closely with the young people to make real progress with regard to their academic potential and social skills training.
Drake House – Birmingham
Offering 3 placements to young people aged 8 – 17 Drake House will work with young people who require intensive support and a placement in the heart of the local community. A dedicated on site classroom is available for young people currently outside of mainstream education. However the ambition is to return young people to mainstream education.
Seven Sisters – Wales
Accommodating 4 young people aged 8 – 17 is situated in the heart of the community and will be available to young people who need a high level of support in a small group living home. The home will offer on site education and the support of a highly trained staff team to enable young people with complex needs to take control of their lives and reach the full of their potential.
Visits to all these homes can be arranged by contacting the CastleCare referrals team who will be happy to assist with all your enquiries.
