At CastleCare we pride ourselves on providing high quality residential care with education to children and young people who, due to the circumstances of their young lives, require residential accommodation and the support of a trained staff team to address the issues that make them vulnerable.

Our national network of homes and independent schools offer a wide choice of placements designed to meet the unique needs of the young people referred to us. At each home we offer bespoke care packages designed to assess and meet the individual needs of the child. The level of support is defined by the intensity of the child’s needs and the complexity of their behaviour. As the young person achieves their outcomes and develops personally and academically, the service evolves around them to reflect the progress they have made.

In reality this means the level of support is reduced to allow the young person's the emotional space to grow. As a consequence the price of the placement is moved to a lower tier to reflect the reduction in support that child then requires. By achieving success through continual assessment and by planning to outcomes we are able to maximise the young person's achievements and minimise the cost to the local authority.

When we establish any home the benchmark we use for designing the environment is ‘would we accept that in our own homes’? With that in mind our homes offer high quality residential living space and we actively encourage our young people to personalise their rooms and to contribute pieces of art work for display in the homes.
