The Jigsaw Project

One of the jewels in the crown of our educational and residential provision is the Jigsaw Project.

CastleCare has been managing this thirty place independent special school and attached residential complex for the previous eighteen months and we have recently been awarded the contract to operate the service for a further three years.

The Shropshire- based Jigsaw Project is an innovative facility which seeks to provide an excellent integrated care and education package for young people with ESBD.

It has a provision to school thirty young people across the Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum and onsite there is a cluster of four residential homes offering care to a maximum of twelve young people.

Facilities include a resource centre and library, outdoor pitches and a sports hall and drama facility, which ensure the young people who attend receive a rounded and inclusive education.

Run in partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council, the aim of the Jigsaw Project is to become a beacon for education and social care and provide its young people with the skills necessary to enhance their lives.
