Education

Providing a brighter future for our young people

Education is at the heart of each young person’s placement within one of our homes.

Our aim is to provide each of our young people with the opportunity to acquire the skills and qualifications to thrive and achieve their full potential.

With this in mind, we have our own provision of DCSF/ESTYN registered independent schools which means we can guarantee each young person will be able to pursue their education within a supported environment.

Our qualified teachers have extensive experience in re-engaging young people who may have been out of the education system for some time. They design meaningful educational packages, based upon the young persons abilities and preferred learning styles, that embrace their specific needs, talents and aspirations.

Such packages enable our young people to gain a wide variety of nationally recognised vocational and academic accreditations, including GCSE, ASDAN, COPE and AQA.

Our goal – reintegration into mainstream education

One of the core aims of our education provision is to reintegrate young people into mainstream education (where appropriate). We make sure the pathway towards reintegration is gradual, enabling our young people to move from a highly individualised education experience towards a larger boarding school/college environment and often towards a mainstream school and/or college.
